Budget
The Russell County Public Library is funded by the County of Russell, the State of Virginia (through the state aid program administered by the Library of Virginia), the Universal Service Fund (E-Rate), and several localities. Funds also include grants and donations (particularly from the Friends of the Library.)
The County of Russell acts as our fiscal agent, so funds are audited as part of the annual audit for the county. A copy of the audit may be obtained from the county or available on their website.
